Founded twenty years ago by Mr. Millard Fuller, Habitat For Humanity International is a people-to-people partnership drawing families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.
People of compassion provide support – future homeowners contribute their sweat equity. Houses are sold without profit, and no interest is applied to the payment cost.
Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are actively committed to Habitat’s goal of eliminating poverty housing.
Homeowner families are selected according to criteria that do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed or ethnic background.
