Hastings Area Habitat for Humanity will be holding a new home dedication ceremony Sunday, October 26th at 5:00 pm. The address is 201 West C Street.

Our Mission

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there is great housing in good communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

The Hastings Area Habitat for Humanity has been an active organization since 1992 and has built over 13 homes. Habitat for Humanity is a partnership of families and communities coming together through volunteers and with resources to build decent, affordable housing. Deserving families are able to purchase an affordable home through a no-interest mortgage.  

Each family is required to spend 120 hours of sweat equity into their home and future Habitat homes.
